If You Missed The University of Calabar Convocation Ceremony, Here's Photos And News From The Event....

A lot of happiness and sorrows was in the air that day as a lot a people were happy as they graduated successfully while others couldn't due to one thing or the other which is meant for them alone.
A female student from Department of Genetics and Biotechnology whose name is anonymous backed up all the prizes including cash, checks, and other gifts as the best graduating student with a CGPA of 4.79.
Others joyous things also happens as parties were thrown to graduating students from their parents and associates. Those with higher degrees and visiting schools and the like also made the events interesting and there was actually joy in the air that day.
While a student was crying that day, I now asked weren't you supposed to be the happiest person in the world right now? So, why the tears? He nod his head and said you won't understand, I said what is it that I won't understand? He went ahead and said, he's been in the school for 10yrs running a 4yr program, and he exclaimed "finally am a graduate"!!! I felt for him though, but it worth the tears anyways.
