All is now set for the kick off of the Greensprings/Kanu Football Camp, which begins on Sunday. The event billed to hold at the Lekki Campus of Greensprings School in Lagos is in its fourth edition.
With coaches from Netherlands and England already in town for the clinic, the organisers have assured participants and their parents of adequate security at the venue. The organisers have also said that parents can still register their wards at the venue.
The Head of Sports, Oluseyi Oyebode, said the participants are expected to resume at the camp on Sunday at noon while registration of new participants also take place simultaneously.
“The camp starts from noon on Sunday and parents and guardians who are yet to register can do that at the venue. Kits will also be given to the participants same day while the coaches are already in town for the one-week exciting clinic,” Oyebode said.
Specifically, the coaches are drawn from the English and Dutch leagues to handle proceedings while Nigerian coaches will also work with them. This year’s camp promises to be exciting as the clinic coincides with the school 30th anniversary.
