A source revealed that the late PDP Chairman was shot several times in his house
by suspected thugs loyal to an opposition political party.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman in Ebonyi State, Emeka Nworie has
been reportedly shot dead in the early hours of Saturday, April 11 by unknown
gunmen.
A middle aged man identified as Mike Ojor in Ikwo Nnoyo , Ikwo local government
area of the state was also killed.
According to Vanguard , a source revealed that the late PDP chairman was
attacked in his house in Ezzagu, Ishielu LGA and shot several times by his killers,
suspected to be thugs loyal to an opposition political party.
The state Police spokesman, ASP Chris Anyanwu , who confirmed the incident, said
the attackers asked for money from the PDP Chairman and it was generously given,
but they killed him anyway.
