Former Barcelona youngster Bobby Adekanye, has announced that he has signed for Liverpool.
The 16-year-old has left the Catalan giants to sign for Brendan Rodgers’ team, amid interest from Ajax, where he spent last season on loan and PSV Eindhoven.
Adekanye wrote on his Instagram page: “I am very happy to sign for Liverpool”.
Liverpool have promised the young winger that he will be integrated into the first team this season.
The Nigerian-born teenager becomes the Reds’ seventh signing of the summer, joining James Milner, Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan, Roberto Firmino, Nathaniel Clyne and youngster Joe Gomez.
