Many people make light of one of the commandments of the Supreme Being, which states thus “thou shall not steal”. Countless number of times.

, this simple instruction has been flouted with several culprits getting away unscathed, but, that is not the case this time as you are about to discover.

If you are a clergyman or you are one of those who steal from sacred places, desist so you won’t end your life the way this man did.

Olawore, the man with the light fingers was employed as an accountant with the Living Faith Worldwide a.k.a Winners Chapel some years ago.

It is mandatory that anyone who wants to work with the religious body, must undergo the church’s pastor*l training irrespective of the educational credentials presented. Before Olawore was employed, he was duly made to understand this pre-requisite.

He was therefore enrolled at the theological seminary, from where he subsequently graduated and was employed as an accountant in the church.

Mr. Olawore as he was called to resume work and was a$$igned to counting and recording the church’s proceeds after every service. According to an insider, the church’s strong room has close circuit cameras installed in all the environ except the toilets. Olawore alongside other fellow accountants are saddled with the responsibility of counting the money and separating the hard currency from the local bill.

Olawore, a close family source revealed was very close to the bishop because of his intelligence, this paved way for him to head the department after a few years of his stewardship.

But despite being close to the richest pastor in the world, Mr. Olawore and some of his colleagues were found to be stealing from the church’s treasury. How did they do that with the Close Circuit TV monitors around?

We gathered that they pinned the money in their hand and take excuse to visit the toilet where they would now hide it somewhere they would later have access to, because, after close of work, everyone will be subjected to thorough search before they are cleared to leave the strong room……

“sometimes they spend up to three days counting money and separating the hard currencies in different denomination. The tithes are directly paid into the Bishop’s account.

It became possible for them to steal hard currencies of higher denominations because these are monies that will last them sometime three days to finish counting. And while performing that duty, some of them were always using the convenience place to keep the money till after they are through with it the exercise before they would later go for their harvest” an inside source told us.

You would be shocked that many atimes the cleaners have even made themselves rich as they often see monies stashed in polythene and kept in the WC or sometime use the brush holder as piggy banks to keep the money.

Few months into this act, Olawore who is said to be blessed with the gift of prophecies was always seeing where others used to keep their stolen ‘goddies’ and as he has seen it, he would always go directly to retrieve the stolen loot.

It got to a point that the money was so enormous and he started buying lands all over the place mostly at Agbado area of Lagos, and at the same time living large and enjoying life to the fullest, but he could only do this for a short while, as his insatiable greed and appetite for women ruined him and all he has acquired through this shady means all went down the drain.

As you are reading this, Mr. Olawore seems to have become a recluse and is often seen muttering to himself while walking the streets without any hope of him regaining his sanity.

Pope Francis says all priests can forgive women who've had abortions

According to (CNN) Pope Francis shook up the Catholic world -- again -- on Tuesday by announcing that priests around the world will be authorized to forgive the "sin of abortion" when the church begins a "Year of Mercy" this December.

"The forgiveness of God cannot be denied to one who has repented," the Pope said, adding that he has met "many women" scarred by the "agonizing and painful" decision to have an abortion.

Francis' announcement will give all priests full authority to absolve Catholics contrite about their role in a procedure that the church considers a grave "moral evil." In the United States, many priests already have that power, but Vatican officials portrayed Tuesday's announcement as "a widening of the church's mercy."

"What's new is that Pope Francis, at least for the Year of Mercy, is universalizing this permission," said the Rev. James Martin, a Jesuit priest and editor-at-large at America magazine in New York. "Just as notable is his pastoral, compassionate and understanding tone towards women who have had abortions."

The Pope's policy does not change church doctrine and applies only to the Year of Mercy, a centuries-old Catholic practice during which believers may receive special indulgences for their sins. The mercy year begins on December 8 and runs through November 20, 2016. Vatican officials said it is possible the pontiff will allow the abortion policy to continue in perpetuity.

In his short statement, the Pope said he sympathizes with "women who have resorted to abortion," believing that they have no other option. "I am well aware of the pressure that has led them to this decision."

The Catechism of the Catholic Church says that person who procures an abortionincurs automatic excommunication, a penalty that often only a bishop can lift. Some experts in the Catholic canon law expressed confusion about the practical effects of the Pope's announcement.

Edward Peters, a canon lawyer at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, said Francis' statement seems to assume that the "sin" of abortion and the "crime" of abortion are treated equally under church law.

But Peters said priests have been empowered to forgive the sin, which most often applies to women who have an abortion, since 1983, when the code of canon law was revised.

It's the canonical crime of abortion, which Peters said more aptly applies to abortion providers, that would incur automatic excommunication and require a bishop's intervention.

In an explanatory article, a consultant to the Vatican Press Office agreed that, under current church law "in many cases" an abortion "may be absolved as would any other serious sin."

Encouraging mercy

What's truly new about Tuesday's announcement, continued the Rev. Thomas Rosica, is the "great pastoral approach and concern of Pope Francis."

As such, the move seems to showcase a developing phase in Francis' papacy, which began in March 2013. During the first two years, he changed the church's tone by welcoming people on the margins, including gays and lesbians, divorced Catholics, the elderly, the poor and the sick.

This summer, for example, Francis said the church should take special care to embrace divorced Catholics. "No closed doors!" he told a crowd gathered for his weekly audience in Rome in August.

With the abortion announcement, Francis seems to be signaling a "third way" to govern the church around thorny issues. He's not changing long-standing church practices, but he's moving beyond rhetoric.

In particular, he's empowering Catholic clergy to be more merciful, and at times more flexible in the enforcement of church rules. This year, when top bishops hold a large meeting on challenges to modern families, the pontiff may seek to take a similar approach to divorced and remarried Catholics.

According to a new poll conducted by thePublic Religion Research Institute, 51% of American Catholics believe abortion should be legal in all or most cases, while 45% say it should be illegal in all or most cases. In the hours after Francis' announcement, Catholics on both sides of the debate were seeking to spin the popular pontiff's remarks.

MESSAGE:
In today’s Bible reading, while David and his men were away, the Amalekites invaded Ziklag, defeated the city and set it on fire; after which they took members of their families – wives, sons and daughters as captives. When they returned and saw the situation of Ziklag, David and his men were really distressed, disappointed and discouraged. It was more so for David because the incident brought so much disaffection, bad blood and misunderstanding between him and his men; to the extent that they blamed him for the incident and spoke of stoning him to death. 1 Samuel 30:6 says: “And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.” There are some lessons we can learn from this.
The first thing we see here is that whenever you arise to fight the people of God, you lose your defence and you or your family may suffer for it. David was running from King Saul and he went to take up refuge with the Philistines, who were enemies of God (1 Samuel 27:1). When a battle ensued between Israel and the Philistines, he decided to team up with them to fight his own people (1 Samuel 29).
Thank God he was sent back home by the Philistines who realised who he was. By the time he go back home, the covering over his family was blown, and his loved ones had been taken captive.
Never team up with the enemy against the people of God! Whatever your justification might be, never fight anyone who is named after the Name of Christ, irrespective of how long he or she has been in the faith. You will blow your cover and endanger innocent lives. Certain things that should not be heard of are happening to believers today, because they are busy fighting one another.
The second lesson here is that even when he had not fought against his people, just because he had pitched his tent with the enemies of God, his family suffered for it. If you pitch your tent in Sodom, when the fire comes to destroy Sodom, it will equally engulf you.
Check your life today! Are you fighting, speaking against or treading upon on any child of God? You are courting trouble! Have you partnered with unbelievers to torment, oppress, rob, deny, persecute or deal with a believer in Christ? Repent today, apologise and desist from such actions before they boomerang on you or your family. Key Point:

Terry G Becomes Born Again Christian

It appears Nigeria’s eccentric afro hip hopstar, Terry G has not run out of ideas on how to engage his fans. The hip hop act at a recent performance in Enugu decided to take the gospel route while entertaining fans at the Spices Restaurant in Enugu venue of Legend Extra Stout Taste and Tell Activation hosted by Nigerian Breweries Plc. 

But is he really born again? That is a big question for another day.

The bell-brandishing artiste interspersed his performance with verses and preaching from the holy bible much to the excitement of the lively audience.  “God loves us the way we are, that is why Jesus died for us”, the Benue state born artiste stated during his performance as he thrilled the audience to a collection of his hit songs including Akpako, Free Madness, Love Affair, Oga,  The Microphone amongst others.

The event also featured rib cracking comedy from ace comedian Aje Baba. The comedian sent the audience reeling with his cleverly delivered jokes. The evening was further spiced with performances from local cultural troupe, PammyUdu Bunch and a live music from Tipsy Sounds, an Enugu based Live Band.

Legend Extra Stout, organizers of the event also seized the opportunity to reward loyal customers via the Taste and Tell contest. The Taste and Tell contest saw members of the audience randomly selected to participate in a blind taste game to determine who could correctly identify Legend Extra Stout from three unmarked glasses each containing different brands of stout drinks.

At the end of the game, three winners, Engineer Victor Nwakunor, a PHD student of University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), OkechukwuAganmegwa, a 19-year old student of Federal Polytechnic Uwanna, Afikpo and Timothy Ogbuehi, a 38 year-old technician won for themselves, a brand new refrigerator, a brand new 32 inch LED Television and a brand new generator.

Far too many people play God and dehumanize Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Trans, and Intersex people throughout the world, in every culture, race, background etc.

The discrimination is so bad that it leaves many LGBTI people wondering and asking questions. This letter to Homophobes is being reproduced to answer many questions people have asked me.

Both heterosexuals and homosexual people, People of all faith have claimed that homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus 18:22 and cannot be condoned under any circumstance. 

Dear Homophobes,
Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your bigoted rhetoric, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, they are clobbered with Leviticus 18:22 which clearly state it to be an abomination...End of debate.
I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other elements of God's Laws and how to follow them.
1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighbouring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?
2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15: 19-24. The problem is how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.
4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odour for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problems are my neighbours. They claim the odour is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?
5. I have a neighbour who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2. Clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself, or should I ask the police to do it?
6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an abomination - Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this? Are there 'degrees' of abomination?
7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle-room here?
8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?
9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?
10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev.19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair, like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)
I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy considerable expertise in such matters, so I am confident you can help.
