Veteran Nollywood actor, Martins Njubuigbo aka Papa Labista, down with Liver disease

Veteran Nollywood actor, Martins Njubuigbo has been diagnosed with Lover disease. Actor Ernest Obi shared the sad news on his Instagram page. He wrote:

"Please help save ELDER MAYA'S life. 

ACTOR. POET. SINGER. an unrepentant THESPIAN. 
MARTINS NJUBUIGBO fondly known as Elder Maya or Papa Labista is down with a chronic liver problem 
One million Naira is needed for immediate operation. 
Let's help save his life whilst he yet lives. Ratther than celebrate him when he is gone.

Woman rejects boyfriend's proposal because the diamond on the ring was too small (photos)

The Diamond on the ring was too small. That's the apparent reason that could be deduced after a Chinese woman turned down her boyfriend's marriage proposal. The poor guy was down on one knee, proposed with a bunch of red roses, surrounded by dancers he’d hired specially for the event and was being watched by dozens of onlookers when his girlfriend turned and walked off.

At first, she seemed to be thrilled by the performance on a street in Chengdu, the capital city of south-west China’s Sichuan province, and at one point started to cry as her boyfriend walked towards her. But surprised everyone by walking away after seeing the ring her boyfriend was proposing with.

 In a screen shot of a message sent to her friend after the attempted proposal, she complained. “Before we agreed on a one carat diamond ring. Why is it so small? Is he so careless or he just doesn’t care?”

It's not clear when the incident took place but the photographs have been circulating online in China. Many people on Weibo, China's equivalent of Twitter, said that she didn't deserve the proposal.

Dad kills Cobra with with bare hands after the snake killed his son (Photos)

In a video shared online this week, a man was seen avenging the death of his son by killing a King Cobra with his bare hands. The man, in shorts, angrily grabbed the long snake from a tree in the bush and smashed it's head on the floor severally times, killing it. The snake reportedly bit his son, who later died. Bob Marley Photo taken before he died of cancer in 1981

This is the last known photo taken of raggae legend Bob Marley before he succumbed to cancer on May 11, 1981. He was on his way to die at home in Jamaica after fighting the cancer without success for eight months in Pennsylvania, but never made it home. He died at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Miami (now University of Miami Hospital) at the age of 36. The spread of melanoma to his lungs and brain caused his death. His final words to his son Ziggy were "Money can't buy life."

1. Lack Of Professional Connections

For a fresh graduate, it is not often easier to find valuable contacts to recommend a job or get recommended.

This is absolutely okay if you have just pa$$ed out 
of university and searching for employment. But, if it is your tenth attempt for a job and you still have no connections, then you are not taking this issue seriously. A valuable connection not only guides you in right direction but also helps you step into a job easily. Employers are followers of technology. They are in a constant search for a common connection that can fit in a vacant position in his organisation.

 Use social sites, such as LinkedIn, to capture attention of industry-specific professionals in order to gain professional mileage. When you are socially visible on these online spheres, you magnify your visibility. Ultimately, you are in reach of a prospective employer who shares common interests with you.

2. Lack Of Talent Identification

Majority of fresh graduates blindly follow a field without first realising their own potential. Having a degree in ‘marketing’ does not necessarily mean that you cannot pursue a career in film direction. You can definitely do it if you have the pa$$ion in visual art and really think you can make a name in this field.

If you are excellent in something, it is meaningless to question its relevancy with your degree. Talent is not measured by degrees and certificates. It is an unquantifiable thing that is beyond parameters of worldly norms. Just take initiative and follow your dream. It is never too late to find your pa$$ion. It is just a matter of time and place.

3. Lack Of Experience

Fresh graduates often do not have any practical experience of work. The lack of experience interrupts their job application and causes a significant delay in their employment.

 If you have just pa$$ed your graduation and does have any previous experience, it is natural for an employer to not give you priority for a job. However, there are other more important things in your career portfolio that you can make up with your inexperience. As a starter, you can show your previous on-job training programs or internships that you have completed in your trade. You can even demonstrate your specific life experiences that make you perfect candidate for a job, if this is the case.

4. Graduates Are Too Choosy About Their Jobs

Nowadays, graduates are too choosy about the job they pick. They expect the best salary figure, ideal location, flexible working hours and lenient work environment. When graduates demand so much perks and benefits, they end up losing an opportunity that could benefit them in the long run. Ultimately, they deprive themselves of the larger benefits that they could have availed in terms of professional exposure and career profile.

When you land a job interview, consider it as an opportunity to streamline your career success. Do not think about that mundane ‘zeros’ in salary or the trivial benefits. At this stage of your career, you should focus more on skills and professional experience that you can gain from an opportunity. Look into the professional values that an organisation has to offer you rather than salary package that will not do any good at this stage.”

Real Madrid's Karim Benzema has been arrested by French police in relation to the alleged plot to blackmail Lyon playmaker
Mathieu Valbuena, according to reports from Agence France-Presse .
Benzema is believed to have visited a judicial police office prior to his arrest in relation to the case that was opened by the French authorities in July.
The case is reported to centre around an alleged extortion attempt regarding a sex tape involving France international Valbuena.
Part of the investigations around the case also saw former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse taken into custody and later released in October.
A statement released by a prosecutor last month read: "Djibril Cisse was taken into custody (…) in connection with a judicial investigation opened in the district court of Versailles on July 31 2015.”

Man Who Stole From Bishop Oyedepo Runs Mad

, this simple instruction has been flouted with several culprits getting away unscathed, but, that is not the case this time as you are about to discover.

If you are a clergyman or you are one of those who steal from sacred places, desist so you won’t end your life the way this man did.

Olawore, the man with the light fingers was employed as an accountant with the Living Faith Worldwide a.k.a Winners Chapel some years ago.

It is mandatory that anyone who wants to work with the religious body, must undergo the church’s pastor*l training irrespective of the educational credentials presented. Before Olawore was employed, he was duly made to understand this pre-requisite.

He was therefore enrolled at the theological seminary, from where he subsequently graduated and was employed as an accountant in the church.

Mr. Olawore as he was called to resume work and was a$$igned to counting and recording the church’s proceeds after every service. According to an insider, the church’s strong room has close circuit cameras installed in all the environ except the toilets. Olawore alongside other fellow accountants are saddled with the responsibility of counting the money and separating the hard currency from the local bill.

Olawore, a close family source revealed was very close to the bishop because of his intelligence, this paved way for him to head the department after a few years of his stewardship.

But despite being close to the richest pastor in the world, Mr. Olawore and some of his colleagues were found to be stealing from the church’s treasury. How did they do that with the Close Circuit TV monitors around?

We gathered that they pinned the money in their hand and take excuse to visit the toilet where they would now hide it somewhere they would later have access to, because, after close of work, everyone will be subjected to thorough search before they are cleared to leave the strong room……

“sometimes they spend up to three days counting money and separating the hard currencies in different denomination. The tithes are directly paid into the Bishop’s account.

It became possible for them to steal hard currencies of higher denominations because these are monies that will last them sometime three days to finish counting. And while performing that duty, some of them were always using the convenience place to keep the money till after they are through with it the exercise before they would later go for their harvest” an inside source told us.

You would be shocked that many atimes the cleaners have even made themselves rich as they often see monies stashed in polythene and kept in the WC or sometime use the brush holder as piggy banks to keep the money.

Few months into this act, Olawore who is said to be blessed with the gift of prophecies was always seeing where others used to keep their stolen ‘goddies’ and as he has seen it, he would always go directly to retrieve the stolen loot.

It got to a point that the money was so enormous and he started buying lands all over the place mostly at Agbado area of Lagos, and at the same time living large and enjoying life to the fullest, but he could only do this for a short while, as his insatiable greed and appetite for women ruined him and all he has acquired through this shady means all went down the drain.

As you are reading this, Mr. Olawore seems to have become a recluse and is often seen muttering to himself while walking the streets without any hope of him regaining his sanity.
