The Epic Of Mariah Carey’s Shoe Closet

OMG: Mariah Carey’s Shoe Closet is Epic!

Looks like Mariah Carey is crazy about shoes, well, she shared a picture of her shoe closet and d**m it is probably bigger than some peoples apartment.
In the picture, rows of perfectly lined shoes can be seen stacked along white shelves, making it look more like a department store than a personal closet. She captioned the picture: “Always my favorite room in the house… #shoes #shoes #moreshoes 👠,” and we can see the reason why, we will probably sleep in that room if we own a closet like this.

This is so cool....

Mac - A Selena Makeup Collection Coming in 2016

This multi-product cosmetics collection — inspired by Latin music icon, Selena Quintanilla — debuts in the latter part of next year.

MAC Cosmetics is no stranger to collaborating with beautiful, buzzy pop stars. It teamed up with Lorde on a pearly, vampy lipstick in March 2014, with Rihanna on four bold lip colors — including her best-selling RiRi Woo — in May 2013, and has released limited-edition products with the likes of Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Hayley Willams. For its latest celebrity-focused partnership, MAC tapped one of the music industry's all-time greats: Latin singer Selena Quintanilla, whose final album was released in July 1995, just three months after her tragic murder.
On Thursday, MAC announced the multi-product collection, dubbed #MACSelena, will debut towards the end of 2016. The brand's Senior Vice President/Group Creative Director James Gager said in a statement:
"Selena's talent and beauty, inside and out have, have left a colourful, meaningful impact in the world, that has continued to grow over the last two decades. We have heard the passion and enthusiasm from her fans and wholeheartedly agree that her legacy embodies MAC's philosophy."
Selena's sister, Suzette Quintanilla, was also quoted in the same release:
"I am so excited that MAC Cosmetics will be releasing a collection in honor of my sister Selena. Helping to create this collection brings me back to all those late night conversations on our tour bus when she spoke of having her own makeup line one day. If Selena were here she would be beyond ecstatic to have this happening. History is being made."
Five months ago, a fan named Patty Rodriguez started a Change.org petition (aptly titled, "To release a 'Selena Quintanilla for MAC' limited edition collection"), which has now racked up more than 37,000 supporters on the platform.
While that's all the intel we have on this collection (for now), we can all rest assured it will be a color, vivacious smash-hit: MAC owes it to Selena's passionate fan-base. Watch this space.

See Simple Braided Updo Style For Short Hair

Beauty tutorials are big on YouTube — a search for “makeup tutorial” and “hair tutorial” yields more than 5 million videos. In this weekly series, we put a mix of popular and under-the-radar tutorials to the test and show you what’s best.
I have short hair not because it looks better on me than long hair, per se, but because short hair is easy. Most days, I air dry it and go. It's a little wavy and has plenty of volume.
Friends with long hair often tell me they don't want to go short because there isn't much you can do with it. But there is! French twists are far easier to do with short hair. So are updos like this.
The latest addition to my repertoire is this braided updo from YouTube vlogger team BeautyByAlyssaAndNic. You start by side-parting your hair (though I'd probably go with a center part) and French braiding each side, then pinning it under. So simple, you almost don't need to watch the video, depending on your level of skill.
As an FYI, you will need hair that hits the top of your shoulders — which is longer than mine at present, but give me six weeks.

How to Rock a Bright Makeup

How to Rock a Bright Makeup

Bright makeup are simply in trend today, both in the runway as well as off the runway. However, many may run away from the trend as it seem too heavy.

These are two ways in which you can rock the bright makeup and still look dashingly simple.

1. Apply a hot pink hue on your lips. The key here is to keep the rest of your face subtle. This just gives you the perfect sweet girl look.

2. Coat the top of your lashes with a neon mascara, and then keep the rest of your face subtle.
The key thing about the bright makeup style is that, while you make a part of your face deep, the other part is left simple.

It gives you the electric look, but in a subtle kind of way.

13 Male Models That Needs To Change Their Appearances

New York Fashion Week: Men's made its debut this week, and obviously we were there, checking out the fashions and the man buns. The backstage area, which was blessedly empty and peaceful, was an ideal spot to chat up some male models while watching them get their faces smeared with grease. (One difference between the men's and the women's shows: Women are "dewy" and men are "sweaty.")
There's a certain mystique about male models, beyond the usual "Zoolander" trope. To get to know some of them better and to get a sense of what the male modeling market wants, we asked them: "Have you ever been told  to make a change to your face, hair or body in order to be 'better'?"  While several said they've never been asked to change anything, most that we spoke to had a story to tell. Here's what they said.

"My agent recommended that I get Invisalign and straighten my teeth. It takes about eight months. I didn’t have a big change to make, just fixing things up a little bit."

Adam Lee:

"I'm a very feminine-looking person. I present myself very androgynously in my day-to-day life, so it was always this big conversation of whether they wanted to make me more feminine or more masculine-looking. There's always that struggle of: they want me to grow my hair out; they want me to cut it; they want me to wear certain clothes to make me stand out, but if I stand out then I look totally different. I think now when there are a lot more collections that are exploring that line of gender, it allows us men to have a lot more freedom."

"I had to bleach my eyebrows. You can kind of still see it. With long hair, it changes a lot. A lot of the time they ask me to leave it natural; I'll wake up, have a shower, and it's fine. And then other times they'll curl it and go crazy for editorials and stuff. My first-ever editorial, they cut my hair to be the same as the girl's, so we both had hair up to here. [Gestures to just below his ears.] That was two years ago. Since then, I've never been asked to cut my hair. It's been long since I was a kid."

"It happens sometimes, usually when the client is important. One time I had to shave my head. That was in 2013."

"I had been scouted a few times [before I signed with an agency], but I guess the industry wasn’t ready for me at first [laughs]. I had to fill out a little bit more, and I’m still really skinny, but I was a lot skinnier then. I was like, 'What? Too skinny for fashion?' Eventually I just grew — I’m still growing. It’s weird."

"[Modeling] has helped my self-confidence a lot, because they don’t ask me to change anything. I’ve been lucky because I’m quite tall for a model, but most of the clothes still fit."

Erin Mommsen, 19:

"No, it’s kind of the opposite. I’ve been trying to cut my hair and my agent is like, 'No, no don’t cut it!' I think he thinks that my hair is part of my 'look' so it’s kind of important to keep that."

Gabriel True, 24:

"It’s a pretty body-centric industry. With a lot of boys like me who are naturally skinny and just don't have a lot of definition, they want you to be more muscular and toned. I never worked out because I’m naturally skinny so I’m like, 'Alright, I’ll eat just grilled cheese and pizza every single day.' I’m running and doing planks and core exercise. I’m not trying to bulk up at all."

Ryan Keating, 23:

"At first [I was told to] lose weight, but now it’s to get bigger, more muscular. A lot of us have our own different slots in the industry. For right now, I think I'm stronger in the European market."

"The weirdest situation I had was that I was told to lose weight in my lower back. That’s what someone told me. They said, 'You’re great, but can you tone up your lower back? You need to get leaner in the back section.' I did more arch-ups."

Piero Mendez, 19:

"I opened Prada one year ago in Milan as an exclusive. [My hair is] always curly, but at Prada last season they straightened my hair. When I started [modeling] last year there were almost no curly boys."

Roberto Sipos, 19:

"When I started modeling, I was 15 and I was still looking like a baby — it was difficult for me to book the big jobs. You kind of have to look mature. As I get older, it just gets better and better. You never know [if they’ll tell you to bulk up]. If you watch the shows in Paris, they’re all skinny. In Milan they still use bulked-up guys. In London it’s [both] skinny and muscle guys. In New York, it’s more looking like a man."

Mitchell Slaggert, 20:

"I had to lose some muscle mass. I was a little bit too big. I had to run a lot and lose five pounds because I was too big in the shoulders for the clothes. Also, I had a buzzed head and they wanted me to grow it out a little bit so that they could style it more. "
You're welcome.

Kendall Jenner Gets Witchy (and Leggy) at the 'Paper Towns' Premiere

There's a lot of talk about "squad goals" and "girl gangs" in fashion these days — especially among models — but it truly does warm our hearts when the industry's biggest names support each other's off-the-runway projects. Kendall Jenner, whose gal pal Cara Delevingne is starring in the highly anticipated "Paper Towns" (which hits theaters this Friday), attended a screening of the film in Los Angeles on Saturday, wearing a two-piece evening look from Zimmermann's fall 2015 collection that really caught our attention.
Despite its sexy keyhole opening at the chest, the puff-sleeved, high-necked top could have had an aging effect; but thanks to the double-slit skirt — which allowed Jenner to show plenty of leg — and unfussy ponytail, the full look had a witchy, '70s feel to it. To punch up the monochromatic oxblood ensemble, the model added some metallic gold shoes by Tom Ford, which injected just the right amount of red carpet glamour. By (mostly) covering up on top and showing off her best assets (those legs), this is great a lesson in playing to your strengths when it comes to getting dressed.
When you're a model, two slits are better than one.

How To Make A Cheap Suit Look Good

On any budget, you can improve the look of your Tailoring...
If a suit isn't of the greatest of quality, make sure it doesn't bring any attention to itself in any way. So, buy single-breasted, notch lapels, 2 or 3-button, plain Grey or Navy suits. Bright colours or patterns might like a good option for a cheaper product, but they will only highlight poor materials.
Take note of this little article and it will help you look good even with little expense.
